T. Eugene Palmer, 79, was born in Ogden, Utah the son of Horace Mason Palmer and Tursa Ruth Rokes. On 17 November 1961, Gene married the love of his life, Maxine L. Beck, they shared 55 years together.
Gene and Maxine enjoyed each other’s company and could be found gardening, camping, golfing or bowling. Gene had a love for fishing, and spent many hours on the lake with friends casting a line and telling stories. He was a great craftsman and made many wood creations on his lathe. Gene inherited a talent for making candy and loved to teach children how to pull taffy.
