Sylvia W. Kirkland, age 83, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Kirkland was born on November 1, 1938, in Nicholls, GA to the late James Middleton Williams and the late Hallie Clements Williams.
Sylvia was a force of nature. She loved her family and friends fiercely. Much of her career was dedicated to the care and education of children.

Mrs. Kirkland was preceded in death by: Great-Grandchild: Blake Howe, Two Sisters: Janice Howell and Annie Lott, Four Brothers: Ray Williams, Linton Williams, Buddy Williams, Robert “Cowboy” Williams and Woodrow Williams, Father: James Middleton Williams and Mother: Hallie Clements Williams.
