Sylvia (Dionne) Ventrelli left us peacefully on Saturday May 28, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 80. She will always be remembered for her kind and gentle heart, a heart that will live on in her children and all those who knew her.
Sylvia worked at the Peck Spring Co. in Plainville until she became ill at the age of 79. The people of Peck Spring became a second family to her, especially after the passing of her husband George Ventrelli in 1990.
She is survived by three children Karen Bucchi and her husband Jack; John Ventrelli and his wife Beth; and Tony Ventrelli and his wife Lisa; four grandchildren Matthew, Gregory, Sophia and Talia Ventrelli.
The family would like to thank the oncology nurses, Marcy, Peg and Nikki at Grove Hill Clinic, the VNA of Central CT, and Carmen from Companions and Homemakers for all their care and compassion.
