Sylvia Serina Dwyer, age 86, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., went to be with Jesus on Nov. 14, 2007. Mrs. Dwyer was born April 19, 1921, in Zachary, La.
She was a loving and devoted military wife to her retired husband, Donald D. Dwyer. She also had a fulfilling “second career” as a physician’s assistant.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Donald D. Dwyer, Fort Walton Beach; her daughter, Patricia Millen, Clemson, S.C.; brothers, William Penny and Albert Penny of Baton Rouge, La.; grandsons, John W. Grant and Barry J. Grant of San Antonio, Texas; great-granddaughter, Keori Lynn Grant, San Antonio, Texas.
Mrs. Dwyer was preceded in death by her sisters, Blanche Altazin, Wilhemia Altazin and Lucille Parmalee, all of Baton Rouge, La.
