Sylvia Mae Anderson, age 76, passed away Thursday October 4, 2012. She was born March 2, 1936 daughter of Monty Ellis Hattenhauer and Slyvia Opal (Faubus) Hattenhauer. Sylvia was a life-long resident of Carroll County. She attended school at Pension Mountain and later Berryville Schools. On August 9, 1952 she was united in marriage to Paul Anderson and to this union 7 children were born. Sylvia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time working in her garden, canning, cooking and raising chickens. She was a member of Grandview Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She is survived by her husband, Paul Anderson of the home, 6 sons: Eugene Anderson and wife Judy of Green Forest, Jerry Anderson and wife Mary of Berryville, Harold Anderson and wife Beverly of Nampa, Idaho, Ronnie Anderson and wife Diana of Berryville, Donnie Anderson and wife Linda of Eureka Springs, Edward Anderson and wife Iona of Huntsville, one daughter, Linda Campbell and husband Mike of Green Forest, sisters, Pat Foster of Berryville, Marie Adams of Berryville, Judy Bollinger of Huntsville, brothers, Richard Hattenhauer and wife Cheryl of Berryville, Jim Hattenhauer and wife Donna of Berryville, Chris Hattenhauer and wife Beth of Berryville, 23 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
