Sybil Kerby Lea, 84, of Rossville, went to spend eternity with the Lord on Saturday, September 8, 2017. Sybil was born July 11, 1933 to Melvin J. and Nancy Ann Elizabeth Kerby of Henegar, Alabama. She was a graduate of Sylvania High School Class of 1951.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Jack Kerby, sisters: Pat Shippey and Dorothy Kerby, and a grandson: Tyler Slaughter.
She is survived by a son: Michael (Theresa) Lea, two daughters: Denise (Terry) Slaughter, and Darlene (Dennis) Hurt, and grandchildren: Angela Hale, Jeremy (Melissa) Christopher, James Hurt, Lyndsay Hurt, Kerby Lea, and Morgan Slaughter and several great-grandchildren.
