Svanhilde Cobb Paradise of Newnan went home to Jesus March 2, 2020 after a short illness. She was born on July 23 on the same day as her beloved husband Jerry W. Paradise except one year later. They always enjoyed celebrating their birthdays together. She was born in Atlanta to the late Robert R. Cobb and Lois Irene Cobb Long. She was a wonderful homemaker until she went to work to finance her daughter Marla’s college education. She continued to work for 20 years as an executive secretary to Harrison Hooper at Latham Time Recorder Company. Swanie, as she was affectionately known was dedicated to exercise and healthy living. She took great care of her family which included weekly Sunday lunches at her home with amazing home cooked meals, Birthday celebrations and holiday excitement. She loved keeping a nice home including beautiful flowers and warm surroundings. She was a follower of Christ and was committed to New Lebanon Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Marla P. Brandenburg & husband Bryant of Newnan. Granddaughter, Chandler of Savannah. Niece Allison Cobb Long & husband Jesse. Great nephews Jesse & Mac Long of Charleston, S.C. Grandsons Noah Milton Paradise and fiancé Casey Thigpen and Billyjoel Wilder Paradise, Lauren Neighbors and great grandson Walker Joel Paradise all of Graham, AL.
