Suzanne Scherschel of New Haven went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born Nov. 4, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Gloria Hartwig. She worked most of her career as a dental assistant in the Ft. Wayne area.
Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Richard; daughter Tami (Lee) Bickford; son Shane of Noblesville; grandchildren Braedon and Abigayle; grand dog Oberon; brothers Jim (Alicia) Hartwig of San Antonio TX, John Hartwig (Kristy) of Nashville TN, and Rich (Kathy) Hartwig of Ft. Wayne, and a host of friends and family.
She was also preceded in death by her sister Sandy.
