Suzanne “Sam” Pries, 47, of Three Oaks, Michigan, died Friday morning, November 10, at her home.Sam was born September 30, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to Leon and Frances (Johnson) Kendall and graduated from River Valley High School in 1977. On June 13, 1981 she married Charles Pries in Medaryville, Indiana. She loved her children and her family. Sam enjoyed spending time gardening, fishing in the boat with her husband, and volunteering at the Harbor Country Thrift Shop. She will be sorrowfully missed by her family.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Pries; daughters, Serenidy (Neal) McDonald of Oak Ridge, Oregon; Amanda Pries of Three Oaks; and Hilary Pries, who is serving her country stationed in Iraq; her father, Leon Kendall of Three Oaks; sisters, Laura Kendall of Kalamazoo and Jensine Kendall of San Francisco, California. Her mother, Frances, preceded her in death.Cremation has taken place.
