Suzanne Neumann Painter (Goehry), 70, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022. Born in Montclair, NJ, she resided in Toms River for the last forty years of her life. Suzanne graduated from Montclair State University and went on to establish a career as a Special Education Teacher, teaching at the Alpha School in Lakewood, NJ, and retiring from Harbor School in Eatontown, NJ.
She was also an accomplished gymnast, an Elite Gymnastics coach, and parishioner of the Presbyterian Church of Toms River. Suzanne is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Helen (Hockstall) Goehry, as well as her sister Carol Kerr. She will be forever missed by her loving husband Keith Painter, her daughter Stacey Bailey, brother Art Goehry, and her granddaughter Mattie Bailey.
She loved spending time on the beach with her beach friends, and looked forward to yearly getaways with her camping buddies, she was very artistic and enjoyed various arts and crafts, sewing, and was an accomplished piano and organ player. Suzanne will always be fondly remembered, as she was beloved by all that knew her.
