Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Bartonwoods Assisted Living, surrounded by her family. She was 72 years old. Suzanne L. Losee was born on August 20, 1946 in Saginaw to the late Earl and Emma (Rohloff) Losee. She was married to William R. Fila, Sr. on February 3, 1968. She later married Terry L. Stahl on April 30, 1988 and he preceded her in death on December 16, 2007. She was a 1964 graduate of Buena Vista High School. She worked for the Saginaw Police Department as a Lien Operator and retired on February 28, 1997. Suzanne was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in Saginaw and St. James Lutheran Church. She enjoyed music and dancing, spending precious moments with her grandchildren and making cherished memories that will be forever held by her family that survive her.
She will be deeply missed by her son, William R. Fila, Jr.; her daughter, Stacy L. (Tony) Lopez; three grandchildren: Brady and Landon Fila and Christian Lopez; brother, Jerry (Elizabeth) Losee; sister, Sharon (Bill) Murlick; special friend, Lorna Putman; many nieces, nephews, Buena Vista High School Club friends and extended family.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Emma Losee.
Suzanne’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Bartonwoods Assisted Living, especially Skyler Arizola; and Southern Care Hospice, especially, Kim Bli for all of the care and support that has been provided to Suzanne.
