Suzanne Sue (Disier) Grieves, 62, of Ottawa, died on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Sue was born on April 17, 1953, in Ottawa, to Donald and Elvera (Fiorini) Disier. She married John L. Grieves on February 10, 1972 at St. Marys Church in Naplate. Sue and her husband, together, owned and operated Century 21 Grieves Real Estate and Grieves Construction in Ottawa for more than 40 years. She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church, the ASPCA, and the Realtors Association.
Sue was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was very passionate about organ donor awareness. Please consider being an organ donor to pass on the gift of life to others.
Sue is survived by her husband John L. Grieves, of Ottawa, a daughter, Holly (Andrew) Perino, of Rockford, a grandson, Anthony Perino, and her mother, Elvera Disier.
She was preceded in death by her father, and a brother, Donald.
