Suzanne “Su” Lynch passed away in her sleep while at home on Sunday, February 19th. She was 57, and we’ve lost her way too soon.
For those of you who never knew her, I feel sorry for you. Su was one of a kind. A big, boisterous personality with a vibrant soul as colorful and creative as her many tattoos, Su loved her Salem Slim Lights 100 and hated tuna fish sandwiches. She was smart and generous, with a wit as sharp as a knife. Always up for an adventure, she never quite got to see all 50 states, but she got to see Paris and Iceland. Born in Somerville, she spent most of her life in Edison, New Jersey and dreamed of moving to a small Southern town one day. With four kids to raise, she received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Rutgers University in 1999 because she was determined to finish college before she sent any of her children away to it. And that, right there, is Su in a nutshell.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 34 years, Will; her four children: Jessica, Woody, Teree & Kat; her son-in-law, Mikey; her two grandchildren: Annabelle & Liam; her best friend, her older sister, Bettie, her sister Tracy and her brother Thomas.. Not to mention a motley collection of kitties who will mourn her untimely passing as keenly as her human family members.
