Mrs. Susie Faye Colley Walker, 86, a resident of Valley, AL passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Survivors include her son, Danny Walker (Christy); daughter, Tammy Walker-Walls; five grandchildren, Danilea Werner (Rick), Cody Walker, Bryant Pope, Brannon Pope, Bree Ann Walker (Jonathan); eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Doris Lashley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ralph Walker; sisters, Estelle Hay & Jimmie Hendrix and brothers, Owen & Freddie Colley.
Mrs. Walker was born in Langdale, AL on December 7, 1930. She was well known for her community service, volunteering for the hospital and nursing home in Valley. Mrs. Walker enjoyed cross stitch, quilting, and playing cards with her church friends. She was an active member of West End Baptist Church.
