Mrs. Susie Abercrombie Edwards, age 89, of Dahlonega, GA. Mrs. Edwards passed away peacefully, Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Edwards was born in Lumpkin County, March 24th, 1923, to the late Joseph Abercrombie and Dovie Anderson Abercrombie.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Charles Chambers, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Phillip and Debbie Chambers, Hamilton, VA; Jason and Lynn Chambers, Gainesville, GA; Susanna and Bill Helms, Tampa, FL; great grandchildren, Chase Chambers, Brett Chambers, Kelcey Helms, Madison Chambers, Dylan Helms and Matthew Helms; brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Faye Abercrombie, Dahlonega, GA; sister-in-laws, Geneva Edwards Pittman, Social Circle, GA, and Sarah Edwards, Gainesville, GA; brother -in-law and his wife, Earl and Betty Edwards, of Dahlonega, GA.
