Susan White Coe Nebolsine, age 68 of Cheshire and beloved wife of Alexander Nebolsine, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011 surrounded by her children and family after a courageous 18 month battle with ALS. Born on May 23, 1943 in New Haven, she was the daughter of Dr. Robert M. and Eleanor Lowe White. Susan attended Day Prospect Hill High School in New Haven and then Beloit College in Beloit WI. where she met and married Alan Charles Coe (deceased, 1990). She had three children, Deborah White Coe, John Scott Coe, and Margaret Louise Coe before she and Mr. Coe were divorced in 1972.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Deborah Curtiss and her husband Mark of Chelmsford, MA, Scott Coe and his wife Denise of Charlotte, NC; Peggy Campbell and her husband Sherlock of Cheshire, CT. She is survived as well by her siblings Robert and his wife Julie of Chatham, NH; David White and his betrothed Jackie Jones of Milford, CT and Katherine Buick and her husband Bill of New Haven, CT. Susan was also the devoted Grandmother of Margaret Eleanor Curtiss and Alexander Philip Curtiss of Chelmsford, MA and Zachary Allen Coe and Jennifer Marie O’Hearn of Charlotte, NC. Susan will also be missed by her many dear friends and her beloved Bichon Frisee, Junie B.
