Susan Thompson “Suzi” Hardy, 56, of Satsuma, passed from this life on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at her home following a brief illness. Born in Jamestown, New York, she was a 1983 graduate of Horsehead High School in Horsehead, New York. She moved to Palatka in 1991 from Deerfield Beach, FL.
Suzi was an associate vice president and branch manager with Center State Bank in Palatka. She was also a member of the Azalea City Kiwanis Club and had served on the board of directors of the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce. An avid Florida Gator fan, Suzi also enjoyed golfing. In years past while in New York, she traveled throughout the state showing her horses in numerous venues.
She was preceded in death by her father, James H. Thompson.
Suzi is survived by her mother, Katherine “Kay” Thompson of Welaka, a sister, Jo Ann Johnson (Robert) of Colden, NY, a nephew, Kenneth Johnson (Michelle) of Chili, NY, and their sons, Keegan and Kellen Johnson. Suzi is also survived and loved by a host of friends and clients she served in the community.
