Susan Dianne Ruark Copelan, age 65, of the Greshamville Community, died on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Greene County, she was born November 29, 1956, the daughter of Pat B. Ruark and Louise Treadwell Ruark. She graduated from Nathanael Greene Academy and Athens Tech. On January 2, 1983 she married Corry Marion Copelan III. Along with her husband Corry, she was the operator of Copelan Farms.
Survivors include a daughter, Hannah Louise Copelan; a son, C. M.Copelan; sisters, Elizabeth Patricia Bramlett, Carolyn Louise Siver, and Deborah Shuman; grandchildren, Cody Patterson, Charles Marion Copelan, Chloe Madison Ghann, and Miles Dillon Copelan; a number of other relatives and many friends.
