Susan Rose O’Hare, 55, of Harbert, Michigan died peacefully at her home Tuesday morning, December 13, 2011.Susan was born July 15, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois to Robert A. and Dawn B. (Schultz) Henrichsen. She attended South West Business College in Chicago where she earned her Associate’s Degree. On September 4, 1976 she married Thomas Arthur O’Hare in Chicago. Susan lived in Harbert since 1986 and was employed as a stenographer at LECO Corporation in St. Joseph, Michigan.
She enjoyed tending her vegetable and flower gardens, and was known for her generosity in helping others and being involved with charity work. Susan was a member of St. Agnes Church in Sawyer, Michigan and she also belonged to the St. Mary and St. Agnes Women’s Group.Survivors include her husband, Thomas, son Kristian Sean (Mike Hastings) O’Hare of San Francisco, California; parents, Robert and Dawn Henrichsen of Sawyer, Michigan; sisters, Mary Dawn (Jim) Stephens of Crestwood, Illinois; Barbara (Mark) Golotta of Lansing, Illinois; Linda (Ken) Mackowiak of Valparaiso, Indiana and Carolyn (Dan) Ross of Harbert; and brothers, Christopher (Madonna) Henrichsen of Kankakee, Illinois; Robert (Shannon) Henrichsen of Sawyer and Eric (Susan) Henrichsen of Sawyer.Cremation has taken place.
