Rooney SteinbergSusan (nee Staller)Age 77, of Marlton, NJ, passed away on September 6, 2021 after a very short illness. Sue was the beloved wife of the late Robert Steinberg, daughter of the late Lawrence and Victoria Staller of Philadelphia, and sister of the late Barbara Knudson of Tucson, AZ. She was born in Philadelphia at Temple University Hospital and graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School in 1962. Joining the workforce later, as a single mother of nine and one year old sons, Sue enjoyed a successful and productive career in various operations, marketing, and administration roles at PRICE Systems, a software provider to the aerospace and defense industry that was owned by Lockheed Martin Company at the time of her retirement. She built business relationships across her company and its client’s organizations around the world. Outside of work she cultivated beautiful gardens and was a keen fashionista. But what Sue enjoyed most of all in life was being with her family and friends – of which she was blessed with many. She was a loving, proud, and fiercely devoted mother; a wise, comforting, and doting “Grammy Sue”; and a kind, always-available “Aunt Susie”. She is survived by her sons John (Carol) Rooney, of Berywn, PA, and Michael Rooney (Alison Wilkey), of Brooklyn, NY; her grandchildren Tori, Cole, and Cade Rooney; and her brother-in-law Richard Knudson, her niece Michelle Wu (Kevin), and nephew Eric Knudson (Kayleigh Lutich).
