Susan Milano Piazza found her peace on May 7, 2015 at age 60.
She was born in Hartford, CT to Kathryn and Carmine Milano on October 29, 1954.
She is survived by her children James and Ryan O’Connell, her daughter Kathryn Piazza, and preceded by her son Rocco Piazza. Sue also leaves her sisters Cheryl Irizarry, Linda Lawton, and Laurie Milano, and brother Jamie Milano, as well as her nieces and nephew; Tiana Irizarry, Toni Civitello, and Mike DiBerardino.
Susan worked at Hartford Hospital for over 11 years, taking care of those who needed it most. She worked as a unit secretary with various units throughout her time and later in laboratory testing.
Later she devoted the bulk of her time to her family, friends, gardening, and pets. She loved antiquing and being creative in her home environment. The many antique teapots in her home can attest to her love of the crafts of old.
A truly kind soul, she was always willing to listen and lend support to her family and friends throughout her life. She will be missed each and every day.
