Susan Mary Schilke, 72, of Burlington passed away at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill on Friday, April 21, 2023.
A native of Chicago, IL, she was the wife of Gary Schilke, who survives and the daughter of Ray Anderson and Virginia Hughes Anderson, both deceased. She was a retired Office Manager for Kemco Company. Susan was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter, where she enjoyed helping in the kitchen when she was able. She also enjoyed working in her flower gardens.
In addition to her husband, survivors include three children, Kelly Lehman Adams-Cain and husband Jim, Joshua Lehman and wife Malissa, and Blair Lehman and wife Kristina; grandchildren, Donald Dewey Adams, III, Morgan Terrance Adams, Katherine Virginia Lehman, Parker James Cain, Joshua Walter Lehman, II, Anasophia Blair Lehman, and Julianne Kristina Lehman; great grandchild, Donald Dewey Adams, IV; brothers, Bruce Norstorm and wife Pearl and Dale Norstorm; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Donald Dewey Adams, II and two sisters, Lynda Villano and Dawn Schaffer.
