In 2009, Susan retired and came home to Grand Junction. She was a school classroom volunteer through Foster Grandparents, helping at Pomona Elementary and Holy Family school.
She was predeceased by her parents, Clyde & Alma Theobold, and a brother Noel Gerard “Jerry” Theobold. She is also survived by a sister Karen Youngreen of Salt Lake City, and brothers Ronald (Velda) of Tucson and Reford (Karen) of Grand Junction.
