Mrs. Suarez was born January 10, 1961 in LaSalle to Pearl (Illman) Swierzynski. She worked at Peru Catholic School as a food server for over 25 years. She married Steven J. Suarez on June 19, 1982 at St. Hyacinth’s Catholic Church, LaSalle. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Peru. Susan loved cooking, baking, sewing, raising her children and taking family vacations to Wisconsin Dells.
She is survived by her husband, Steve of Peru; her children Linda (John) Golick, Andrew Suarez, James Suarez, Joseph (Courtney) Suarez and Bradley Suarez all of Peru; four grandchildren, Collin Golick, Ella Marie Suarez, Logan Golick and Wesley Suarez.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Swierzynski.
Pallbearers will be Linda, Andrew, James, Joseph and Bradley Suarez and Ed Illman. Honorary pallbearers will be Deb Burke, Sally McDowell, Kathy Ragan, Sue Suarez, Carol Liesse Fitzgerld and Sue Sanford.
