Susan M. (Lutz) Mespelli, 39, of Upton, died Friday morning, March 4, 2005, at her home after a long and courageous battle with a malignant brain tumor. She was the wife of Marc A. Mespelli and had been a manager of group homes for Advocates, Inc. of Framingham before retiring due to illness three years ago.
Mrs. Mespelli was born in Marlborough, a daughter of Harold and Dorothy Mae (Saunders) Lutz of Berwick, Nova Scotia. She was a 1984 graduate of Hopkinton High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Bridgewater State College in 1988. She lived in Hopedale before coming to Upton one year ago.
In addition to her husband of 11 years and her parents, she leaves two sons, Matthew and Collin Mespelli of Upton; her sister, Barbara Harris of North Sandwich, NH; a brother, Brian Lutz of Webster; and many nieces and nephews.
