Susan Lynn Schaefer, 66, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 8, 2020, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Susan was born January 31, 1954, in San Francisco, California, to E. Roger and Suzanne R. Barry Hibbard. She grew up in the Bay Area of California and attended the St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Girls’ School.
Susan married Steve Schaefer in Seattle, Washington. Together they raised two children, Johanna and Ben. They later relocated to Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Susan is survived by her loving husband, Steve; children, Johanna Ofstedal and Ben Schaefer; brother, Steve Hibbard; sisters, Mary Kaufman, Meg Kaufman, and Ann Grayson; and two grandchildren, Sophia and Peirson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Susanne.
