Susan Lynn DeBartolo, 76, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at home surrounded by her family.
Susan was born December 28, 1944 in Bellevue, OH, to Charles and Martha (Jordan) Flanagan.
After raising her three children, Susan owned and operated the The Bank (tavern) in Waukee until retirement.
Susan is survived by her children, Jeff (Sherry) DeBartolo of Omaha, NE, and Cheryl (Rick) Young and Rich (Holly) DeBartolo, both of Des Moines, IA; ten grandchildren, Eric Schelker, Katy Schelker, Aaron (Nicole) DeBartolo, Tara (Sean) Williamson, Matthew Fisher, Christopher (Taylor) Fisher, Ryan Young, Bradley Young, Leah DeBartolo, Taylor Kearney, and Anna DeBartolo; five great-grandchildren, Jaden Loman, Brody Williamson, Payton Fisher, Gracie Fisher, and Joseph Fisher; and her brother Steve (Karen) Flanagan as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father James Erickson, two grandchildren, Richard Fisher and Andrea Fisher, and her siblings Mary Nizzi and Bruce Erickson.
