Susan (Lemanski) Kopec, 52, of Bristol, formerly of Plainville, the wife of Robert Kopec, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, New Britain.
Susan was born in New Britain on April 18, 1960, one of three children of Walter and June (Ferrar) Lemanski of Plainville. A longtime resident of Plainville, she was a 1978 graduate of Plainville High School. She moved to Bristol shortly after her marriage to Robert, where they shared 28 years together.
In addition to her husband and parents, she leaves her sister, Patty Santacroce, her husband, James P. Santacroce, MD and their son, Joseph, all of Litchfield; her aunt, Jennie Pustelnik of New Britain; her mother-in-law, Janina Kopec of Bristol; and many cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, James Lemanski. Susan’s family extends their gratitude to the critical care staff at the Hospital of Central Connecticut for their compassionate care.
