Susan K. Gillim of Sheridan, Indiana (formerly of Noblesville and Indianapolis) died December 24, 2012 after a long and courageous fight with metastatic breast cancer. Her strength and determination to persevere left an indelible mark on those who knew her. To the very end, Susan never thought of herself but, rather, what action could be taken to help others fighting the disease and ultimately to find a cure for cancer. Susan was tireless in her quest to raise money for local breast cancer organizations and gave her time freely for the cause. Whether Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Sharon L. Bassett Foundation, Rock for the Cure, or her own organization, Partners in Pink, Susan understood that local organizations and individual efforts make a difference. Susan believed that, “It is not how much time you have on earth, it is what you do with the time you have”.

Susan Gillim was an employee of Roche Diagnostics for 25 years where she excelled in the areas of marketing, e-business, and web development.
