Susan K. Simmons, 49, departed to her heavenly home on Sunday December 11, 2005 at St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford at 2:07 A.M.
Born November 1, 1956 in Freeport she was the daughter of Dale W. and Ruth I. (Rhodes) Simmons. Surviving is her mother Ruth I. Folser and her Step Father Bill Fosler. One sister Barbara (Dennis) Ceroni, four brothers, Gary (Christal) Simmons, John Simmons, Scott (Keely) Simmons and Todd (Becky) Simmons, one half-brother, Dale P. Simmons, several nephews and great nieces, and Edna Haas whom she loved as a sister.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Dale W. Simmons, one half-brother, David Simmons, one niece, Tammy Jo Ceroni and her grandparents. Susan worked for Newell Rubbermaid for several years and her pleasures in life were spoiling her nephews and nieces, her two cats, going to garage sales, shopping, movies, going on trips with friends, and spaghetti dinners with her friend Deb and her husband Mike.
