She was born June 20, 1046 in Morgantown WV; daughter of the late Herman and Ethel D. Hayhurst Mahaffey.
Susan is survived by one son Jerry Allen Barker Jr. and one Sister Barbara Mahaffey Mace and husband Lee Roy of West Milford. He was preceded in death by her husband, James Russell Powell.
Susan was a supervisor of tellers at BB&T Bank of Clarksburg; she loved to play Golf, work in her garden and cooking.
