Susan lived her life with passion, curiosity and sensibility. She passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on January 1, 2023, from a cardiac event. Susan was Idaho strong even though she was born in Spokane on October 3, 1944. Her father, Lloyd Easton Jenson, trained aviators at Felts Field during WWII. The family moved to Boise in 1945. Lloyd was active in the Ada County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse, Western Riding Club, ranching, farming, coaching and teaching. He retired as an air traffic controller.

She retired to Boise where it was easy to put down roots and make friends. She was an avid swimmer and music lover.

Susan is predeceased by her parents and cousin Richard Gassman, (Vi). She is survived by cousins Bob, (Mary), Blair, Brent, Dean and James Jenson. LuAnne (Jenson) Steininger (Roger) and Sharon (Arthur) Feldman (Ed) are her cousins and became as close as sisters. Her longtime friend Cathy LoGerfo and son Anthony were a big part of her family, sharing many fun adventures together in Australia, Canada and across the US.
