Susan Corwin Gary — A life well and joyfully lived. Susan Gary (74) of Golden, Colorado – Sue, to family and friends (Sue-Sue to the youngest) passed away on June 21, 2017, following a long illness. She was born in Washington, DC, on December 30, 1942, to Thomas Parker Corwin and Jane Collins Corwin. She is survived by her life partner of forty-two years, Wynn M. (Buff) Bennett of Golden, CO, son Thomas Dain Gary and daughter Tracy L. Gary of Hilton Head Island, SC, sisters Nancy Collins and Mary Moss of Hilton Head and Bluffton, SC, nephews Ryan Parker Collins of Raleigh, NC, and Timothy King Moss of Washington, DC, niece Whitney Jane Collins of Hilton Head, and great-niece Emmy Corwin Collins of Raleigh. Stepdaughters Brooke Maher (Brock) of Lakewood, CO, Judge Danelle Liwski (Rick) of Tucson, AZ, and grand children Ben and Tara Liwski and Brynn Maher. Sue attended Sweet Briar College in Lynchburg, VA, and the University of Colorado (Denver).
