Susan Hadley Donnovin passed into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 1, 2016. Born on September 17, 1969, she was a daughter of Joseph Philip Donnovin, Jr., and Anne Austin Donnovin. In addition to her parents, Susan is survived by her sister Elisabeth Baylor Donnovin, her former husband, James Howard “Jimmy” Sutter, and his mother Becky Sutter, and Susan and Jimmy’s children, the lights of her life, James Joseph “Jay” Sutter, Lucy Elisabeth Sutter, and John Hadley “Johnny” Sutter, all of Lookout Mountain, and her cousin Sandra Anne Austin of Kentucky.
Susan was educated at Fairyland Elementary School, Girls Preparatory School, the University of Georgia and she graduated from Arizona State University.
She loved animals and had deep compassion for those less fortunate than she, which led her to reach out to many of them. She was active for many years in AA and cherished the friendships that she developed there.
