Susan Greenleaf, 46, of Meridianville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday. She was a Christian and was passionate about her faith and her love for the Lord.
Susan was born in Jackson County and was raised in Dekalb County in the Rainsville Community where she graduated from Plainview High School in 1986.
She was employed by the Army and Air Force Exchange Service and had worked in various locales around the world including Harrogate, England, Kabul, Afghanistan, and Djibouti, Africa;
Susan was the mother of four sons who survive her: Matthew Karl McKechnie, Austin Scott McKechnie, Colin Michael Denverd McKechnie, and Alexander Justin McKechnie of Huntsville, Alabama.
Other loved ones who she left behind include: her grandson, Liam Karl McKechnie; Her mother, Carol Greenleaf; Her four brothers: Jeff Greenleaf, Raymond Greenleaf, Kenneth Greenleaf, and Barry Greenleaf; Her sister: Vickie Armstrong; A host of nieces and nephews; Her fiance: Jerry Jackson; Her former husband and the father of their sons, Scott McKechnie; She also leaves behind many other friends and family members who never had to question her love for them.
