Susan Yvette Godec, beautiful wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on September 25, 2017 at her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Born in Patterson, California, and later residing in western Kansas and Lamar, Colorado, Susan moved to Colorado Springs in 1986 where she found success as a Director for Mary Kay Cosmetics, as a Sales Manager for Timberline Landscaping, and as the owner of The Phancy Pheasant, a local home décor/gift shop.
Susan is survived by her husband of 22 years, Joe; children Renee Albright, Neil Emick, Michaela Bell, and Jacqueline Godec; grandchildren Ashley, Katherine and Loren Albright, Robert and Sienna Cadena, Presley Emick and Mark Felkey; father Robert Briggs; brother Robert Briggs; sister Valerie Emick.
