Susan Elizabeth Hermansen (Hines) 76, of the Holiday City Berkeley section of Berkeley Twsp. died on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Born in Orange, NJ she lived in Colonia, Edison and Spotswood before moving to Holiday City 13 years ago. Susan worked as an Executive Assistant for Siemens in Iselin and Ciba Geigy in Edison.
Surviving are her daughters Karen McKenna and Robert McKenna of Mt. Dora Florida, Lynn and Dan Hofacker of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, previously of Monroe Twp., NJ, and Erica Hermansen of Monroe Twp., NJ, three sisters Margaret Switzer of Somerset, NJ, Ellen Cramer of North Brunswick, NJ and Kathy Happel of Piscataway, NJ and a brother Peter Hines of Vero Beach, Florida. 9 Grandchildren: Steven, Taylor, Paige and Ryan Egierd and Christopher, Timothy, Kyle, Kelly and Zachary Hofacker many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Sasha.
She is predeceased by her parents Thomas Hines and Kathryn Looby Hines of Colonia. She was an avid reader, loved gardening, crocheting & knitting. She loved her house and spending time with her family.
