Susan Alice Barnes Draper, 77, passed away August 20, 2022, in North Ogden, Utah. She was born August 29, 1944, to Melvin Jay and Alice Mather Barnes in Logan, Utah.
Susan married EuGene Draper April 1, 1966, in Logan Utah Temple for time and eternity, and they enjoyed 56 wonderful years together. She and Eugene lived many places during his 20 years in the military. Susan attended Utah State University and Weber State University. She was a teacher for many years and retired from teaching special education, she was devoted to her students. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served various church callings. Susan enjoyed reading, skiing, crafting, sewing, and quilting. She also enjoyed singing, playing the piano and she was an amazing cook. More than anything she loved her children and grandchildren.
Susan is survived by her loving husband EuGene; 3 wonderful children Matthew Draper, Alison (Kyle) King, and Danielle (Eric) Pace; sisters Sharon Farmer, Trudy Barnes, and Cathy Quist; and 8 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents.
