Suresh K Shah, 72, passed away on July 9, 2022. Suresh was born in India on July 21,
1949, to Kantilal and Vasantben Shah. Suresh is survived by his two sisters Meena
Ramesh Shah and Varsha Dhanesh Mehta, his four children, and four grandchildren.
Since an early age, Suresh enjoyed learning and always had an independent spirit. That
independence helped him cross oceans and continents to arrive in the United States at the
ripe age of seventeen to study at Texas A&M University.
His education and enterprising nature were the foundation for his greatest accomplishment
and passion, the creation of ASIA Insurance. ASIA Insurance was Suresh’s way to not only
meet the needs of his family, but more importantly help those in his Indo-Pak community
navigate the complicated world of insurance and finance in their new US homeland.
Never overbearing but with a sense of responsibility, one could typically find Suresh
listening and talking to others, sharing his insurance knowledge, along with a joke or two, to
convince his audience that insurance was of utmost importance if one wanted to protect
his/her family. He did not focus on just selling a policy, he genuinely cared for others’ well-
being.
He was a generous, kind, and jovial man. He will be sorely missed by his family, friends,
clients, and all those who he met along the way.

enjoy the ride, and work hard. These were the themes of his life, and he would have loved
to know that he inspired you to live by them.
