Sumer Lynne Aspiazu was born April 20, 1971, in Mountain Home, Idaho. Our dear Sumer tragically left us at the young age of 51 on August 9, 2022, in Nampa, Idaho.
Sumer was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, teacher and mentor.
She is preceded in death by her father, Stanton Park V.
She is survived by the love of her life Ted Aspiazu, step son Tristan Aspiazu, step daughters Kortne Randall-Harper, Taylor Gossi , Blayke Secord, grandson Kage Gossi and future grandson baby Keith.
Sumer spent the last half of her childhood in LaGrande, Oregon where she graduated from LaGrande High School. She went on to graduate from Cosmetology School in Astoria Oregon. She was so excited to tell us that she got to style the bad guys hair (Richard Tyson) in Kindergarten Cop…HOW COOL !!
Sumer has been a teacher at Nampa High School for the last 8 years. She developed the Cosmetology program which was the first program of its kind in the state Idaho. You could always find her watching and volunteering her time at high school sporting events. She loved her students and they loved her!
Sumer was most happy while camping and with her family. She loved hard and unconditionally. Her favorite place was either Stanley Idaho surrounded by the majestic Sawtooth mountains or a tropical destination with her feet in the sand.
Sumer will always be remembered as having a contagious laugh, being a loyal friend and having a very fun and outgoing personality. She never new a stranger. To know her is to love her. She was a precious soul and friend for life.
We would like to thank the Nampa Paramedics, Nampa Police Department and the St. Alphonsus Nampa Team for the wonderful care they provided Sumer and our Family during this very difficult time.
