Entered into rest, Oct. 31, 2011, Sue “Assunta” Teodosio, 86, formerly of West Haven; aunt of Nicholas (Linda) Teodosio of FL, Frank (Carol) Teodosio of Orange, Teresa Cavaliero & Frances(Gus) De Santy both of Milford; also survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins; predeceased by a brother Frank Teodosio, a sister-in-law Louise Teodosio and her life long friend and companion Frenchy. Sue was born in New Haven a daughter of the late Cmdr. Nicola and Teresa Sorrentino Teodosio, on Aug. 14, 1925 , the eve of the feast of the Assumption of Mary. From 1949 to 1958, she lived in Atlantic City. From 1959 to 1976, she worked at the former Villa Pompeii and later at St. Raphael’s Hospital as a dietician and lead cook. Sue had also owned her own restaurant on Howe St. in New Haven where she was loved by the Yale students and the New Haven community. A lover of the arts, she was a successful real estate investor and a seasoned traveler including her favorites Florence, Capri and Amalfi.
