Susan Francis Rogers Fitch, “Sue” can now eternally dip her toes in the ocean.
Sue, an avid lover of the beach, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 after a long illness. Longtime resident of Woodbridge, CT, She grew up in Bridgeport where, she found her best friend, Mary Anne, and her best friend’s brother, James Fitch who would ultimately become her husband. Sue graduated from Notre Dame High School in Bridgeport. Her early career started with the telephone company and moved into real estate, but she found her niche and excelled at Medical Billing. Sue worked in many of the state’s various hospitals. She is pre deceased by her husband James Fitch and her brother, Steven Rogers. She is survived and forever loved by her family: Her children: Son, Sean Fitch and wife, Coleen of Derby, Daughters, Maura Fitch McNulty and her husband Tom, of New Milford and Megin Fitch of New Haven, who will continue to love Sue’s cat, Midnight. Sisters, Helen Lull of Shelton, Mary Morrisroe of Ridgefield and Brother Charles Rogers of Milford. She was also blessed with 6 grandchildren: James Clarence, Brennan Francis, Kevin Hobbes, Ryan Thomas, Ian James and Erin Claire, as well as many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
