Sue Ellen Hayes, 89, of Odon, Indiana, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, October 17, 2019 in Washington, Indiana. She was born on April 16, 1930 in Princeton, Indiana to Paul and Beatrice (Haskett) Daugherty. Sue married her husband, James L. Hayes on April 6, 1952.
Family left to cherish Sue’s memory includes: three sons, David ‘Jake’ (Gwen) Hayes of Carmel, Patrick Hayes of Mechanicsburg, PA, Michael Hayes and Phil Rothermich of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Maggie Hayes, Mary Hayes, Emily (Elias) Stoner and Adam Hayes; three step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
Sue was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, James Hayes and a sister, Nancy Whitsitt.
