Sue Ellen Ahlersmeyer 69, of Fort Wayne died Sunday, February 14 at home. She was born October 18, 1951, the only daughter of Ralph William and Helen Melvene (Ropp) Ahlersmeyer.
Sue attend Bethlehem Lutheran School and graduated from New Haven High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in business and accounting from Ball State University, Muncie and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Francis, Fort Wayne. She worked in the accounting department of several companies including Bell Telephone and Zimmer Biomet in Warsaw, IN and Indiana Michigan Electric in Fort Wayne. She also worked for executive recruiting firms prior to retiring. She was a member of several book clubs and was formerly on the board of directors for all for One productions.
She is survived by her brothers – Larry Ahlersmeyer (wife: Betsy) of Muncie and their two sons, Andrew (wife: Jessica) of Elkhart and Cory (wife: Sonya) of Greenfield and Scott Ahlersmeyer (wife: Lauren) and their three sons Rudolph, Charles and Harrison. She is also survived by longtime friend, Daniel Stevens.
