Sue was born in 1933, in College Park, Georgia. She attended her beloved College Park High School, graduating in 1951, followed by Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. Sue enjoyed a full life of working for the family business, raising three children, cooking, gardening, trips to the beach, and numerous bible studies. Sue’s knowledge of scripture was astounding and joyfully shared with her closest friend and prayer partner, June Ellerbee.

Later in life, Sue was blessed to share her golden years with the late Thomas R. “Smoke” Sullivan. According to Sue, they were married for 18 glorious years. During that time, they loved gardening together in Smoke’s award-winning garden, cooking a variety of homegrown vegetables and trying new recipes, while always graciously sharing their bounty with countless friends and loved ones. They also enjoyed life to the fullest with their four, beautiful grandchildren, as well as numerous vacations and 13 cruises around the U.S. and abroad. Sue’s life was not quite the same after Smoke’s passing, he was a stellar husband, father and grandfather to us all.
