Sue Brunetti, age 94, of Stratford, formerly of Norwalk, beloved wife and best friend of the late James F. Brunetti, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Carolton Chronic and Convalescent Hospital in Fairfield. Born in Stamford, the daughter of the late Anthony and Grace Lupo, she had been a Norwalk resident for most of her life prior to moving to Stratford in 1989.
She was a retired floor manager for Diane Knit Fabrics in Norwalk. Mrs. Brunetti was a member of the Our Lady of Peace Ivy Leaguer’s and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Ladies Club. She proudly received her high school diploma at the age of 78 proving to her friends and family that it is never too late to accomplish goals. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who delighted in time spent with her family. She loved to cook, bake and sew and was always willing to bake for family and friends.
Survivors include three children, James A. Brunetti and his wife Fedelia of Stratford, Graceann Parisi and her husband Rocco of Fairfield and Richard Brunetti and his wife Anne of Stratford; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters and two brothers.
