Mrs. Sue Barr, of Troy, Illinois, age 73 years, born on February 2, 1933 in Logansport, Indiana, passed away January 26, 2007 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Illinois.
Mrs. Barr moved to Troy, Illinois in 1979 coming from Ramstein, Germany. She was a faithful member of the Troy United Methodist Church in Troy, Illinois, an inspirational leader and worker for the Family Life Center, New Addition to the Methodist Church, Past President of the Christian Club for which she was a long time member. Mrs. Barr was a regular volunteer for the Cancer Society Foundation. She also was a Red Cross Volunteer at Scott Air Force Base on a regular basis.
Mrs. Barr is survived by her loving husband Billy J. Barr of Troy, Illinois, whom she married May 18, 1953, her son, Gregg Barr of Troy, Illinois, and her daughter, Jodi Barr of Edwardsville, Illinois, a sister Mrs. Jean (Ed) Hollenberg of Winamac, Indiana, and two grandchildren Kristen and Evelyn Barr.
Mrs. Barr is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Effie (nee: Rearick) Harrison, and two sisters Thelma Rife and Shirley Koh.
