Sue Alice Morris Davis, age 73, of Rensselaer and formerly of Scottsboro, AL passed away April 3, 2011 at the Rensselaer Care Center. Sue had been a resident of Rensselaer for the past 14 months. Prior to moving to IN she had been a resident of AL for the past 30 Years.
Sue was born January 8, 1938, in Estillfork, Alabama, the daughter of Samuel and Moranda Jane (Sisk) Morris. Her marriage was on February 6, 1954, in Tishamango, Mississippi to Glen Leon Davis who passed away April 22, 2000. Surviving is her daughter, Glenda (Mike) James of Rensselaer, IN and her son, Michael (Diane) Davis of Battle Creek, MI, three grandchildren, Joshua and Justin Davis and Angela Vest, one great-grandchild, Hannah Vest, one brother, J. C. Morris of Hazelcrest, IL, and two sisters, LuAnna (L. G.) Henshaw of Paint Rock, AL and Dorothy (Bobby) Maples of Holly Tree, AL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and five sisters. Sue attended the Princeton (AL) schools. She was a homemaker and a member of the Apostolic Faith Assembly Pentecostal Church of Mt. Ayr, IN and Formerly a member of New Life Apostolic Church Scottsboro, AL.
