Sudie Agee Kennedy
Sudie Agee Kennedy of Rayle, GA died December 27, 2016 at Greene Point Nursing Home in Union Point, GA. Daughter of the late George Clinton Agee and Lula Broome Agee of Lincoln County, Georgia, she was born May 4, 1921. Sudie was a real Granddaughter of the Confederacy as her grandfather Agee was an officer of the American Civil War. She was the wife of James Edward Kennedy of Wilkes County and mother of her son, James A. Kennedy Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son and siblings. She is survived by 2 grandsons, J. A. “Bud” Kennedy, Jr. of Union Point, GA and William Edward Kennedy and wife Wendy of Bluffton, SC; great grandchildren, Brandon, Brittani, Hannah and Grace; great, great grandchildren, Julianna and Regan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Joan Echols, Martha Hall, Ruby and Jack Armour, Edith McGill, Buddy Gormley and Ken Thompson; and devoted friends, Peggy Echols and Wilda Boatwright.
Sudie and her husband operated a dairy farm on Courtground Road in Rayle, GA where she lived for over 80 years. She retired from the textile industry.
