Stuart David Perlman passed away July 12, 2022 surrounded by his wife, three daughters and sister. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1943, he moved to Miami in 1948 where he attended Miami Senior High School and The University of Miami receiving a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 1965. Stuart began his successful Real Estate career as a Broker becoming an appraiser in 1971. He was one of the first FHA fee appraisers here in South Florida. Later he formed The Perlman Group with his daughter Alison.
Stuart was deeply funny and always felt like the smartest person in the room, maybe because he’d tell you he was! He was great at his work because he charmed everybody, but the schmoozing wasn’t insincere. He was genuinely interested in people and the world at large. He never stopped learning and read countless articles about anything that spiked his curiosity, with which he then flooded family and friend’s inboxes. He was a fan of tennis, football, and bridge. He most enjoyed hosting family and friends at his home and traveling. Later, he enjoyed the cruising life with his wife. He was a devoted and beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife Millie Perlman, daughter Debra Fleming (Chuck) and grandchildren Samantha, Henry and Josh, daughter Suzanne Perlman (Juan Lardizabal) and grandchildren Ashley and Nick, daughter Alison Perlman, sister Natalie Tanen, and former wife Sally Perlman.
